Patrick and Stephen at Built Up Models have just finished a 1/48 scale De Havilland Vampire for me. All being well, it should arrive here very shortly. They have done a superb job of it, with a lot of additional detailing.

Bannarit Rittaporn in Thailand, the man responsible for my Drowned Bugatti, has just released another “Barn Find” model, this time the 1926 Bugatti T38 found in Australia recently. The model is limited to seven pieces only.

Phil Alderman has resurrected his AutoFare website. As well as many of the lines he originally carried, he now has several new ones, including some made especially for AutoFare by Ilario in his Chromes range.

I just picked up a black 1903 Cadillac 2 seater runabout, from EMC (I cannot speak highly enough of their work!), courtesy of Khan Modelcars. Now if only I could find an example of their Austro-Daimler “Sasha”...

For those who maight be wondering, “the.x.man” name came about partly out of frustration when I first tried to register on eBay and found all the user names I wanted were already taken!
