Well, after years of hoping, I finally tracked down a kit for a model I have wished for since seeing the 1965 movie, “The Great Race”; Professor Fate’s “Hanninbal 8”!
Now, thanks to Mike Scott of Fate Model Works, the dream will become a 1:18 scale reality...

A rather rare BBR Audi Project Rosemeyer found its way into my collection today, thanks to the generosity of a good friend.

... and thanks to that friend, I also now have a Diablo GT2 by MR Collection.

I just collected a rare model from Japan (many thanks again to bestkit.jp), a pearl white Toyota 2000GT Roadster by Make Up Co., Ltd.

I now have one of Make Up Co's Lamborghini Countach QV's and as always, it is up to Eidolon's usual excellent standard.
This one was a toss–up between the metallic red and their pearl black version. The metallic red won, but only just...

And in the same parcel as the Countach was one of Eidolon's Ferrari Testarossa Kœnig Twin Turbo models — also fantastic.

Now here is a good score!
I have just secured a 1903 Cadillac Model A 4-Seat by EMC, finished in burgundy with red upholstery.
All I have to do now is track down their red and black 2-seater Runabouts...
1:43 Model Builders
This list is a collaborative effort, including a lot of input from members of the MiniWerks forum. It is by no means a complete list. This is partly intentional, as we are trying to include only the ‘best of the best’, so to speak. But, there are doubtless many more worthy builders that we are so far unaware of...
The ones that have been included, are divided into two categories; those who offer their services and build by commission, and those who merely build because they love it — and are happy to show what they do.
One company is often asked about — and that is Davis & Giovanni. So far, they remain somewhat of a mystery, with no website and very little indication of either who or where (Japan? Hong Kong?), they are. However, the good news is that MiniWerks represents their work.
Available for commission
A lot of these are represented by MiniWerks.
Please bear in mind that most of these builders are booked out for many months in advance.

Artisans
It is always possible that some of these people will build on commission — from what I understand, MOMO Factory and Matsuyoshi Hayakawa will (among others), in very limited numbers. I guess if there are contact details available on their sites, it cannot hurt to ask...

Display cases
Both BBR and MR Collection sell their 1:43 scale display cases separately (usually available through most retailers), and I believe Tecnomodel's aluminium based cases are also available. However, a top–end model often needs a high quality custom built display case.
