The car that began my Countach obsession!
In Australia during the early 1980's, Modern Motor magazine road tested a dark metallic green LP400S with gold wheels and a brown "Tobacco" interior.
(Wheels magazine did an article the same month, but I never knew that at the time)
I fell in love with it instantly!
However, unlike the car that inspired my model, I chose to have it built without the rear wing, as this is the way I prefer the Countach. I also cannot be sure that it was actually "Verde Hydra" back then, but it is such a stunning colour and close enough to the real thing, that it was just how it had to be...
