the.wish-list
well...
Now here is a list that could go on for ever!
However, here are just a few highlights, beginning with a 1910 Lion Peugeot Brooklands, from MCM. Long out of production, of course, but I might get lucky one day...
Stingray
Some time ago, I stumbled across a little company called Kentucky Legends, who seem to specialise in 1:43 Corvettes. The one that caught my eye was a one–off supercharged Stingray ‘wagon’.
Toyota 2000GT
One of the few Japanese cars I would quite like to get hold of is a Make Up Co Toyota 2000GT.

Artwork
I have a small handful of limited edition prints hanging on my walls, by Wu–Huang Chin, currently a lead designer for Mazda R&D in California. Among other cars, he has the RX7 FD3S (often referred to here in New Zealand as the “Batmobile”), to his credit. Previous to Mazda, he worked for Opel. Most of these prints, and a few others, are still available from MiniWerks.
Each of mine have been framed in Rimu with non-reflective glass.

De Clercq “Rolling Sculptures”
From De Clercq in France, I have a trio of what they refer to as “Rolling Sculptures”. At approximately 300mm long (roughly equivalent to 1:12 scale), and weighing about 1kg each, these are serious pieces of high–tech art.
Their bodies are formed from AS13G aluminium (the P38R is titanium/aluminium alloy), then hand polished, the wheels and steering wheel are machined from 2024 light aircraft alloy, the radiator grilles, axles and screws are Z2CN18/10 stainless (with brass bearings), and the P38A’s seat is upholstered in genuine leather.
Each one is signed, dated, numbered (as a set; mine is #122), and delivered in a felt drawstring bag.
