… well, that would be me! A kiwi going by the named ‘Jono’, buried in the middle of New Zealand somewhere.
I’m a one–man–band who’s dabbled in web design for the last 10 years, mostly for the fun of it, although a little bit of pocket–money every now and then certainly doesn’t go astray…
I can’t claim a whole string of industry related qualifications, although my chequered past includes a good 10 years in retail. My abject lack of certificates/diplomas/degrees hasn't prevented me from producing an armload of respectable websites all around the world, though. my work - and my standards
In the field of web design, not being “professionally” educated is any excuse for producing sub–standard work. I always code my xhtml to W3C standards and also do my best to conform to WCAG 2.0 WAI–AAA (and Section 508). I know this isn’t the be–all and end–all of web design, but I believe it’s better than not making any effort at all.
